2JZ-GTE Trigger and Sensor Setup for Autronic SM2

Crankshaft trigger disk had 12 teeth originally. All were removed except for three. The disk was offset 23 degrees so that one of the teeth was 60 degrees BTDC.

This was done by removing the trigger disk from the timing belt pulley and machining a new location slot B in the pulley. You can see the original slot A.

The original idle valve was a stepper motor type. The SM2 will no support stepper idle valves, so a two wire idle valve from a Ford car sold in Australia was fitted.
